In Roman mythology, Aurora is the daughter of a Titan Hyperion and Titaness Theia. Her brother is Sol, the sun god, and her sister is Luna, the moon goddess. Aurora was the goddess of dawn. She dwelled in Oceanus and each morning she would fly across the sky emitting light announcing the sunrise.
